All of BRiDGES staff have, or are finishing a degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or other child related field. BRiDGES has proudly welcomed interns and Student Teachers from ASU, NAU, MCC, and CAC. We have an employment waiting list for those wishing to work with us in the near future.
How to Become a BRiDGES Team Member?
- You have to share our passion and understand the developmental philosophy reflected in all of the fun things we do. "Do nothing without joy."
- Graciously survive a 3-4 part interview process.
- Have a unique balance of talent, education and experience.
- You love children’s literature, story time, and think Mother Goose might be one of your distant relatives.
- Be able to provide excellent references and letters of personal and professional recommendation.
- You must be fingerprinted, have a Federal FBI background check and a notarized Criminal History Affidavit.
- You think mud, fingerpaint and worms, are fun and necessary experiences.

- You maintain current First-Aid and CPR certification.
- You understand that negative behavior is a teaching opportunity, and you respond calmly and confidently with positive, conscious discipline.
- Since, “Those who dare to teach must never cease to learn…” You are willing and motivated to complete 30+ hours of professional staff development through reading, attending conferences, classes, and staff meetings.
- You have the patience of a saint, and you find energy and satisfaction in a busy day.
- You desire to be part of a team that strives to continually lead in the field of Early Childhood Education.
